Take a Cruise with Adaptive Cruise Control on the 2018 Challenger

Here at Momentum Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, drivers who check out our Dodge lineup, and our sporty models like the 2018 Dodge Challenger often crave a vehicle that is good for a cruise around the area or out on the freeway and the open road. One way you can relax and set that cruise is with adaptive cruise control, which many people don't figure is a lot of fun with a sports car where you want to put the pedal to the metal. But, we assure you, when you try it, and when you follow the simple steps to do it, you'll see that it makes driving enjoyable.

On standard cruise control, you turn the system on and an indicator light lets you know its active, and you set the desired speed, and take your foot off the accelerator. Disengaging means pressing the brakes, using the plus or minus buttons, and the "RES" button on the vehicle.

With adaptive cruise control, you use a similar setup but it will be able to keep and maintain a distance between vehicles and slow and speed back up to your desired driving speed when it is clear. That's quite nice because you're not constantly putting your foot on the brakes to change speeds and are letting the 2018 Challenger do the work. That way, you can enjoy the high-powered engines, and plenty more the vehicle has to offer.
